More then one chinchilla

Question
Hello

Can more then one uneutered chinchilla live in a cage?

Answer
Hello,
Of course! I keep mine mainly in pairs with one trio. I have two males together and then a breeding pair, and a trio with two females and a male (lucky male). Chinnies should actually not be neutered or spayed if it can be avoided, unless there is a medical reason. They tend to not handle the hormone changes well.
