teaching my rat tricks

I was wondering if you could give me some advice on teaching my rats tricks. I don't know where to begin. My rats are about 2 years old so I don't know if they are too old to learn tricks or not. I don't know if you know much about rat training but if you do I sould love to have some pointers. Thank you very much

Hello Josh,

As your rats are 2 years old they are a little too old to teach tricks to, but you could still try. Walking up and down stairs is the easiest to teach. Start at the bottom of the stairs and hold a treat (friut or veg, nothing to fatting) in frount of the rats nose and slowley pull it away to near the stairs and hopefully she will follow, try one stair at a time, you may need to put her frount feet on the first stair to start with to help her understand what you are wanting.
