Rats and Guinea Pigs

Question
Hello i was wondering if there was a way that you could house a rat and a guinea pig together in the same habitat? I have 1 rat and 1 guinea pig both females and both gentle, but they need a friend and i cant get another animal, so if they get along can they live together?

  No. It would be very dangerous for the guinea pig. Species should only be housed with the same species. The rat could hurt the guinea pig when you are sleeping. It is better to keep them apart.
