No they should have seperate tanks, if you keep them together the bugs you feed to teh frolg will bother the rab and the crab can be very stressed by crawling crickets adn a frog chasing them around(the crickets). Sexing hermits is possible...you can Not breed them in captivity to let you know anyway they have to lay there eggs in teh ocen aand have them drift out for a few weeks to hatch then they come on land to find shells...it has never been done in captivity. Sexing isnt done by claw thou it is done by looking at its parts kept tucked inside its shell...if you go to http://www.hermit-crabs.com/   itll give you more information on sexing thou Never pull the crab out of its shell to do so you will likely kill it....thou the shell isnt attached it can break teh crabs body as it is curled into teh shell to hangon.

Hello Kandy and thanks for your question, Yes I know about Betta's i myself have 7.... six males and one female all in there seperate homes. They can *not eat people food and it would only dirty there water, if you are thinking of getting a betta I'll let you know that there food is cheap, if you get a jar of flakes or pellets with one betta even the smallest of jars will last for months if used properly.
