hi, i about to get a glass tank for my hermit crab but there is something i don't understand. what kind of top should i get to put on the top to cover the opening and how can they breath if its glass, and how would you keep the humidity if its not?

Some people use a mesh top along with a glass lid. When the humidity gets to be too high they can prop the lip open and the crabs can't escape.

Also on some of the glas fish tank lids there's a plastic piece on it. You could drill some holes along that to allow air in and out.
