kids and hermit crab breeds

which breed of hermit crab will do best with kids that will want to touch and hold often? i am an older sister and would like to get a hermit crab but is unsure which kind to get b/c of my three younger siblings (the youngest being 3)

Hermit crabs are not terribly interactive. Handling will stress them out and for some crabs, will cause them to drop limbs. Also there is always the possibility that they will pinch. Personally, they are really not good pets for kids under the age of about 10 or so.
