HELP!!!!

i got 2 hermit crabs in late july.In early August my hermit crab went naked and the next day i found it in the water dead.I got a new one recently and i had the other in a little carring case then i fixed a 10 gallon tank for a crabatat.But when i was fixing the 10 gallon the other crab was under the coconut fiber.so now the new one is under the fiber in the tank.I want to know if the one in the carring case can like talk  to the other (i have the case beside the tank.).Also i have looked over all of the inter net for answers.Is there anything else i really need to know?Also (agian) I am 9 and my name is Anya. Pllease tell me the answers to the questions if you can!! <(..)>

Hi Anya, they cannot talk to each other through the glass. Diggin in the substrate is really really normal, especially for new crabs.
