QuestionI have recently purchased some Caribbean Hermit crabs and would like to know if they require salt water as well as fresh? I have looked on many websites and books and some tell me they do and others say it is not a necessity! If they do need it how do i go about making it as they cannot have table salt? Please help!!!
AnswerHello, Both freash and salt water is a good idea I used both when I had a mix of hermit types and all of them went into the salt water dish as well as the fresh water dish. You need to use Sea Salt for saltwater Fish tanks via petshops....put about a teaspoon in a large crab dish.
