Question1 of my 3 hermit crabs i think is to big and cant get out of the shell he never moves and i know he is alive but i don't think he can move. He has not moved for 2 days or so. any ideas on whats going on?
AnswerTry placing him in a container of dechlorinated water that is luke warm and see what his behavior is. You can leave him under for up to a minute. He should climb out. (Although it is only likely, not totally guaranteed, if he does, you will know he is not stuck.) It's pretty rare for a crab to get stuck. Do you have water pools deep enough for him to climb in and submerge?
