Hello:
I own two hermit crabs; Bonnie and Clyde. I have had them for about a couple of months. How do you tell between males and females. Thanks!

Dear Emma,
thank you for your question.
You can tell the difference between male and female when the crab is prepared to lean out of its shell, like when they are trying to climb the glass. Look at back of the last pair of walking legs: when yu see two little openings there, the crab is a female. The openings are the place where the male puts his sperm when they mate.
