Question
both my friend and myself have recently had crabs die in our tanks they have come out of their shell and then died we both have diff set ups any ideas what might cause this both got crabs from diff sources

Answer
The odds are good that you both have a similar problem. The most common reason for crabs to leave their shells and die is for temperature or humidity to be too low or too high.

The temp and humidity should be between 74 and 82.

The second most common reason is not dechlorinating the water. If your tank doesn't fit either of these problems, let me know and we can troubleshoot some more.

Good luck!
