QuestionI have a hermit crab that is as big as a baseball. lately he has been weak. too weak infact to even stay in his shell and barely moves. im worried... I've had him for a year. He is so still infact it's hard to tell if he's dead. everything else about him appears normal...WHAT'S GOING ON???
AnswerIt sounds like he may be getting ready to molt. Lethargy is one of the signs that a crab may be about to molt. Please providie proteins, calcium and honey to his food bowl to help him stock up on nutrients.
