AnswerIf there are other types of fish in the tank, it would be best not to feed a hermit crab fishflakes, by the time the flakes sunk to the bottom, there wouldn't be enough left for them to live off of. Instead, get sinking food pellets or wafers or something that quickly sinks so the crabs will have a chance to eat it. If the crabs are all that live in the tank, then it is alright to feed them fish flakes, but you may also want to by algae flakes or wafers too, since most marine crabs feed heavily on algae.
