my hermit crab is using his bigger claw to scrape his legs and then sticking his big claw into his mouth do you know what is happing I feed both of my hermit crabs powdered food and their favroite food black berries and lettuce

Hello, your hermit crab sounds like he is just grooming himself. If there is powdered food on his legs, he could be trying to get that off.
