Hermit Crab out of the shell and not moving

My Little girl has 4 hermit crabs,we've had them for about 1 month.one of them came out of the shell and is not moving we dont know if he is alive or not. He was a very active one can you help..

Okay there is not much i can do without this info...whats your temperature and humidity???..it may be gross to do but dip him in water and see if he responds. Be very careful as not to hurt his abdomen. If you want to keep this more private or send me pictures of his state email me at katiethebear@msn.com.... hope i will be able to help...ps in case you cant get back to me try to place him in his favorite shell with a little bit of water in the bottom. The water will help regulate the humidity in his shell.
