Hermit crab surface molt out of shell

Help! My hermit crab did a surprise surface molt...husband threw away exoskeleton and crab came out of shell...its just laying there on the sand what do I do??

Is there anyway to get the exo back? What is your temperature and humidity?

Place the crab and it's shell under a cocohut or cave of some sort and make sure that the other crabs cannot reach it.

scrape cuttlebone and serve shrimps with the tails on frequently over the next few days. A little honey on a toothpick might give him a little energy.

Make sure you keep offering fresh and salt water as well.
