Question
I upgraded to a 20 gallon tank for my one crab and improved his substrate and glimbing gear recently. I also bought a new crab to add to the tank. The new crab has been staying underground but I caught hiim in the middle of the night coming out to play.  Today I foung that my original crab has also buried underground. Is something wrong? I don't think either of them is molting.

Answer
Some crabs dig to destress or just to dig. Either way it's perfectly normal for a crab to do. Never dig up a crab unless it's an emergency,  such as the substrate is really saturated and flooded or the tank and crabs have mites.
