AnswerIt depends on the climate. If it's warm and humid the crab can live for quite some time. He will be looking for dark areas next to water. The best method for catching your crab is to lay tinfoil on your bedroom floor with fresh water, salt water, and some really stinky food in the middle of it so that when the crab walks on it it will wake you up!
