caribben hermit crabs

i just got my hermit crab today from the mall and it was moving just fine when i got it home it was not movin my mom tryed to get to come out of its shell and now it wont but when my mom was trying to get it to come out it was retreving is it dead or alive?

It is probably stressed from it's recent move. Give it some time (usually a couple of weeks) to destress and it should begin venturing out. Make sure that it has all the stuff it needs to thrive.
