Health / Lost crab

Question
I just read about someone having a hermit crab with bubbles. My crab has a clear/white sac attached to him. It has been there for approx. 1 and a half weeks ever since my other had climbed out and is still currently lost....witch I'm also concerned about. Do have any suggestions or ideas with my concerns? Thanks for your time, Danielle.

It could be one of two things. The beginning of a molt sac or a gel limb. If he is missing any legs, the gel limb will be where the lost leg is.
When someone says bubbles, it really looks like bubbles. That usually is a sign of overheating.
