Question
Some websites tell me to spray the whole cage with water. But when I do that the sand gets wet and I cant clean the cage with the little crab scooper.what do I do?

Answer
Dear Jose,
thank you for your question.
The sand should be moist at all times, if you would be able to build a sandcastle with it, it's just right. To keep the humidity up, you won't be able to avoid misting the crabitat and misting the sand is the best way to make sure the humidity stays high all day long.
To clean the cage, it's usually enough to take out the top layer of sand (top 1/3 inch or so) every week or so, unless the crabs dragged some food out of the dish.
