QuestionI hope to buy 3 hermit crabs soon. Why are 3 better than 2? I like the exo-terra 12x12x12 terrarium and it fits nicely into the space I have available, but is that enough room for 3 crabs? How big do the water dishes need to be?
AnswerJoy, With hermits the more the merrier.The size is great. You should go out to the hardware store and get some ratwire for them to climb up. Your water bowl should be big enough for them to soak in if they want and accommodate the sponge, but not so deep they can drown. Good Luck, Tina
