weird behavior of my hermit crab

Question
My hermit crab came out of its shell last night and appears to be acting normal.
then later this morning he returned to the shell he was in the previous day. What
should I do?

Answer
Hermit crabs will usually not come out of their shells, since it's their only protection. Please check your gauges and make sure they are reading correctly and in the right range.Overheating of the crabitat can make them want to leave their shell.
You may also want to provide more shells for him. There might be something in his shell that is irritating him. Please keep us updated.
