PPS and feeding

Question
So I just got a hermit today from the pet store and of course I didn't realize until after I got home that they were much different from the common dust mite, but I am determined to give this little guy a great home (he loves the sound of my computer already :) )

Anyway, after a day now he does not seem to want to eat anything, I have given him clean lettuce and banana slices but he doesn't seem to like either. Is is possible that after being in the pet store he only eats canned pet food? And if so how should I go about weening him toward good food?

It's not unusual for a crab not to eat constantly especially when new. Just keep offering him foods. It's highly unusual that he would only eat petstore food as he was in the wild before he got there. Just offer lots of different foods from all the food groups.
