hermit housing && missing limbs.

Question
i bought two crabs a few days ago. i was not aware that they couldn't live in the plastic cage i bought them in. how long can i keep them in the cage until i buy a new one? and also without noticing i bought a hermit crab that was missing half of one leg and a whole another one. will they grow back?

Answer
As long as they have humidity in the cage they can live there for a while until you get them a new one. You can keep humidity in my putting a warm washcloth over the tank. Which leg is he/she missing, as long as it isn't the feeding AND bigger claw they will be fine. If those are the ones they are missing you may have to hand feed him with a toothpick and baby food. They will grow back.
