Questionhey sorry 2 bother ya again, but still, i have another situation in my hands: i dont know how you can tell when a hermit crab is being aggressive or if it's just part of their normal inrotucing behavior. in this one site it said that they do this whisker fight to see who's dominant, but when my hermits do it, it looks so aggressive. can you tell me the red flags when it comes to a hermit crab attacking another? please help as soon as you can.....thanx!
AnswerYou don't have to worry unless you see them pinching. Waving feelers and brandishing their claws at each other is perfectly normal. One thing you can do is give everyone a quick dip in the water dish and that will make them "smell" similar. For me this clears up 90% of my crab aggression issues.
