Growth on body

Question
I've adopted a GP to try to "heal" a growth on the body. It was taken to a vet in the past, lanced & "oatmeal consistency" was taken out, never stitched & not biopsied. Cancer or boil perhaps? The growth is back with some "crusty" and some parts "raw & smooth" and is the size of a Canadian looney. I plan to soak with salt water. Can it have antibiotics, I have an amoxicillan known as Clavomox 62.5 mg pills. Any recommendation for "natural, herbal, or homeopathic remedies".  It has been raised well with fruits & veggies, etc, and is not thin. Age 3 yrs. It is peruvian, but has been kept shaved with head long hair.  Any suggestions are appreciated.

It isn't a good idea to give a guinea pig antibiotics unless you've seen a vet and he has prescribed them.  I would recommend treating the sore with neosporin, though, if you feel an antibiotic treatment is necessary.  Another recommendation would be to treat the skin with vitamin e.  It will soften the "crusty" part a little bit and hopefully allow it to heal more fully.

Hope this is helpful.  If you have any more questions or need clarification, please feel free to contact me again.  Good luck!
