lump on my guinea pig

Question
Thanks very much for replying to my previous question regarding a lump on my guinea pigs side.  I took her to the vets and they are not sure what it is.  They say it could be a cyst, a tumor or she has badly banged her side.  The only way of telling is by opening her up.  They are reluctant to do this.  So i am non the wiser.  Although she doesnt seem to bothered with the lunp as long as it is not touched.  The vet said to watch out for fur loss, as sometimes if its a cyst it can burst.  So i will just keep an eye on her.
Thanks

Answer
I'm sure everything is going to be fine. Surgery usually is a last resort for a guinea pig. It's dangerous for them. You have a very wise vet who really loves what they do and isn't in it strictly for the money. I'm wishing you both the best. Please feel free to ask me any more questions and please I'd love to hear updates about your guinea pig. Thanks so much and good luck! :)
