hi i have male pig he is 10month old i am wanting to get him some company but i was wondering wat would happen if i put another male in? many thanks sarah.x.

Getting a second piggy is the perfect thing to do to make your other one happy. They will do things to show each other their dominence. They will circle each other and purr and they may fight. This is normal so dont let it scare you. It should never result in blood, and should subside after a month or two. Fighting between males is natural, but once they are done showing each other who is boss, they will be best buddies. I think the most important thing for a piggy's happiness is a buddy, you wont belive the difference. Make sure your cage is at least 3 square foot in size. When choosing a new piggy choose one the same size as yours, so fights wont result in injuries. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
