Whos the boss

Hi,
We have two baby boy guinea oigs who live in the same cage.  When we put them back in the cage after cuddles one of them streches out long and walks really slowly around the cage making a noise like a helicopter'  I'm assuming that he is telling his brother he is the boss? What do you think?  Also, both of them have dry skin on the back of their ears, one is alittle cracked- i have put some oils on their ears to moisturize.  Is this the corrct thing to do?

You are exactly right, the purring noise is just one pig telling the other he is boss.

The back of a piggies ears is normally dryish so a bit of moisturiser is ok but if you notice it turn into heavy dandruff/red blotchiness then let me know.
