Hi my guinea pig is 1yres old today and i want to know what age a guinea pig is when an adult.:from kathleen

A guinea pig is considered an adult when she is old enough to mate. Therefore we are talking the age of 4 months old.

PS Just in case you were considering breeding, when a female gets to the age of 9 months old, she is actually too old to have babies for the first time as her pelvic bones has begun to fuse together.
