Im new with guinea pigs...

i'm am getting the class guinea pig. i'm not sure how old she is but i have a 2 story cage/water bottle/2 food bowls/ and a home for her to  sleep in. she doesn't like to be held but i really like to hold her. any suggestions as to how i can train her to like to be held? also if you have any tips, please share. thanks

She probably doesnt like to be held due to nervousness but some piggies are more shy than others.

The only thing I can suggest is to be gentle and have her on your lap stroking her gently and perhaps trying to get her to take some food from you.
