A little curious, can a guinea pig eat dog rawhides?

No!

Never feed your guinea pig any pet food that is not specifically made for guinea pigs. Guinea pigs have very specific diets, and even foods for small animals such as rabbits and chincillas can be toxic to piggies.

You should feed your guinea pig fresh vegetables such as carrots, peppers (remove the seeds), dark cabbage, and cucumber. Guinea pigs (like humans) do not properly take in vitamins, so they need a regular supply of vitamin C. This should be supplemented by a dry mix such as Gerty Guinea Pig Food in the evenings (a small handful). Hay (not straw) should be available to your guinea pig at all times, as should fresh cold water.
