My Guinea Pig Abby

My guinea pig Abby is pregnant. I have had her for 6 weeks now and she looks like a pear. I don't know how far along she is so that why I am asking you. I can feel the babies move. like today I felt the baby take its head or something and run it down her side. It was very cool. Also she is running around and building these mounds its not like a nest its just big piles of her bedding. why is she doing that. One more thing how do I know when she is getting ready to give birth? I hope you can help me.

If you have had her for 6 weeks then im guessing you bought her pregnant so i would say she would be 8-9 weeks so in the next week or two

She should have babies which should be an exciting time for you

Also it is very hard to tell when your piggie will go in to labour the only real way of getting a idea of when she will have them is if you notice the pelvic bones widening to a finger thickness this should happen in the 48 hours leading up to the birth but dont worry
if you cant notice it then dont worry it is very hard to tell
