My guinea pig is clucking

I just went down to clean my guinea pig flash's cage. When I took him out and played with him he made this weird clucking noise about 5 times. He is 9 months old and a boy. I have had him since he was 4 months and I have never heard a noise like  this. Is there something wrong with him? Should I take him to a vet?

I don't know what you mean my clucking? Do you mean clicking? Clicking noises are due to URI (upper respiratory infection).
I think it's best to take him to the vet, ask for a checkup around the lungs to see if he has a infection, for now make sure he is not loosing weight and continues to be himself. Hope this was useful!
