common hamster having babies

common hamster is having babies.I do not know what to do!!!!Any special care.Send info fast.

Hey,
 Righty...:)
Firstly she needs lots of protein, give her lots of nuts, some boiled egg, and a little bit of cheese. this will stop her from eating the babies becuase of a protein lack in her body.
  You need to clean her out 3 days before she gives birth and not handle her her after that until 5 days after the babies are born(babies are born on the 16th day of pregnancy),She can't have fluff bedding, becuase it gets tangled in the tiny baby's limbs. tissue paper (i use kitchen roll) is perfect.(if she is litrally having them...don't worry about this bit).
She might leave her babies laying around the cage, don't panic, and definatly don't touch them, she'll pick them up later.
 So leave her alone except for feeding until 5 days when its ok for her to come out to play for short times. After five days give lots of extra food, becuase they are eating solids from then on small peices of vegetables are fine,and i give mine porridge oats.
  you can't handle the the babies til at least 2 weeks, ideally, when their eyes open(at about 2-3 weeks). do not touch the nest with your hands either, and try hard not to go near the cage too much in the first five days. becuase its then shes most likely to eat them. from then on they get fur.
  so aside from doing nothing, feed lots and lots, and when they wander round the cage lower the water bottle.
 thats really all you need to know...main points...feed lots...don't disturb...and definatly don't touch!
