introducing male baby gerbils with adult male?

my gerbil boris is about one and a half.  he had two brothers and a father that lived with him, but theyve all died.  i recently bought two male baby gerbils.  do you think that if i tried to put them together that he would adopt the babies?

You can try putting them together, he may not accept them so i would watch how they interact for a while. He may not be willing to accept any other companions. You may also want to try holding the babies in tyhe cage and letting them sniff eachother to get aquantied. Good luck and let me know how the intoductions go.
