Can you use Hamster stuff for gerbils?

I want to get a gerbil. I want it to et good exercise and want to get
a hamster exercise ball. Can gerbils use these exercise balls? If yes
can you tell me what type I need to get? Thank you.

Hello! Why yes gerbils and hamsters can use almost the same things!! Most companies make hamster/gerbil food and hamster/gerbil treats. It doesn't matter what exercise ball that you use. You want it to be like a medium sized ball for your gerbil. The plastic ones that are clear or colored are cool and fun to see. Just pick out one you like :-)
