Question
Hello again Kelly,

I have been keeping a very good watch over "Peaches" babies and feeding her scrambled eggs in the morning 2 pieces of bread, one in the morning and a night, etc. etc. just anything to help keep her and her babies healthy.

I have noticed one baby out of the five that is a good amount smaller than the others. She is a first time mom and doing everything she can but I don't know what to do about this one. I have read many time not to touch her or her babies until the second week but I feel for the little guy and want to help as much as possible.

Anything I can do?

Answer
Hi Andrea,

Sounds like you're doing a great job in your new "mom" role :)
You're right, you're not supposed to touch the babies until they are 14 days old.  But, even if you could, there's really nothing you can do to help the runt.  Just because it's a runt doesn't mean that it has any health problems.  It is probably just developing more slowly than the others.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

Kelly
