About my hamster behavior

I dont know what is happening to my hamster I have him for almost 3 years he is about 3 and hafe years, and right now he is acting wiered he look so tired dont run when you hold him.  He is been breaking out his cage and jumping from high places is that mean he is going to die soon?  How does hamster get prepare for another life?

      It is possible givin' the age of your hamster. A hamsters life expectancy is 18 months to 2 years of age. Some signs of old age that may appear are, some weight loss, drying of the skin, fur loss, general slowing down (looks tired) and sleeps a lot more than usual. The amount of exercise should be reduced and you may want to put some cotton balls(about 10-12 of them) in your hamsters cage to help keep him warm.

     How does a hamster prepare for another life? That's a hard one that i'm sure not too many people know. But one thing for sure is that the hamster knows.
