Answer
Hello,

Is she a new hamster, have you only recently got her? Hamsters tend to be very afraid of everything and so your hand will seem like a massive threat to her. When picking her up don't pick her up from above as she will think you are predator (in the wild a bird would pick them up from above), you need to allow her to come to you and sniff you so she can get used to you. if she goes to bite just move your finger away before she has a chance. (Make sure you have washed your hands so they don't smell of food...also rubbing your hands in her bedding can be a good idea so that you smell familiar to her). You just need to perservere with her by doing the above as often as you can, and hopefully soon you should be able to pick her up fine!

Good Luck,
Charlie.
