hi HELP!!!!

Question
How long do the babies take to grow?also How could i hep the mom with 10 babies?also How can i clean the cage with out her killing her babies?one more help me with the babies hamsters

Hi Alyssa,

   You should start feeding the mother hard boiled egg and diced carrots, about 4-5 pieces of each. This will give her the extra protein she needs to help raise her babies. When the babies are anywhere from 10 days to 2 weeks you can put in more of the egg and carrots because they will eat them too.
   The cage can be cleaned when the babies are 2 weeks old. This is when it is safe to handle the babies for a short period of time. Continue the egg and carrot until the babies are separated from the Mother which is at 3 weeks of age (boys in one cage, girls in another), this is because they can reproduce at this young age and if a female this young would get pregnant it would kill her.
   At 5-6 weeks the babies will be ready to go to their new homes.
