more than one hamster

Will having two hamsters make them less interactive with us?

hi gina,

like most small animals and birds, if there are 2 of them then yes, they prefer to spend time with each other rather than with us, however if you handle them regularly, seperately and together, theres no reason why they would be apprehensive or scared when you handle them :)
