injured dwarf hamster

Question
My friend and I each got a dwarf hamster about 2 or 3 months ago. We each got a male, about the same age, and until tonight they got along very well. Then tonight the smaller of the two attacked the larger one (the larger one being mine) and injured him pretty badly. It looks like two of his paws were bitten, and some fur was ripped out from on his belly. I was looking through some answers, and i saw that neosporin was suggested for such injuries. Is this alright to use on my hamster? And do vets check on hamsters? A friend of mine told me the vet she went to said he only worked with larger animals. I'm pretty worried about Houdini right now, I'm pretty sure he's somewhat in shock, and like i said, i'm not sure what to do about the injuries. Thank you in advance.

Answer
Hello Sasha,
did you seperate the hamsters for good to prevent more injuries? Do you have any styptic powder or corn starch to stop any further bleeding? You can put that on the wound and then place neosporin on his injuries. If you are unable to take him to a vet then you should try those.
