wobbling gerbil

I recently bought a gerbil and he wobbles when he stands still.  Otherwise he looks in perfect health and is happy.  If he stands on his back legs he sometimes sways until he has to put his hands back on the floor, he also sways from side to side when he is on all fours.  I hope you could shed some light on this for me.

hmmm generally if a gerbil can't keep their balance then they may have an ear infection. That might be what your gerbil has since he's acting normal he just can't keep his balance. I'd call a vet and make an appointment about the ear infection.
