wet tail?? HELP!

ok so my hampster arnold has this wet dark yellow stuff under like his butt. and i am kinda worried about it. i dont know what it is, but it stinks really bad and i dont know if it might bewet tail. please help!

This sounds as though it could be diarrhea - in which case you need to get him to a vet urgently.  Hamsters can suffer from diarrhea for other reasons besides wet tail, however, as the hamster can dehydrate quite rapidly it is important that the vet examines him and rehydrates him and prescribes antibiotics, if necessary.

Alternatively, it could be that he has some sort of infection or abscess and this is pus or similar.  In which case he still needs to go to a vet for antibiotics.
