determining gender

Hi.  I just had two females give birth about 3 weeks ago.  Everything I have read says the babies should be able to leave mom this week.  Is this true, and also can their sex be determined at this time and how?  Thanks.   Briana

Sexing babies is very challenging, since they don't have obvious external signs like their parents, and everything on them is micro sized. Your best bet is anal/genital distance, here is a picture of what I mean:
