Inflamed butt

I got my two month old ferret about a week ago. I noticed his butt started to become inflammed and he began bleeding. I took him to an emergency vet and they weren't sure what the problem was. They said they didn't think it was parasites and gave me two different oral medicines for him. He's still inflammed and bleeding and his stool still shows traces of blood. He's eating/drinking good and he's still very energetic.

I have 19 ferrets and I don't think your ferret has parasites either, but it could be a  bite of some kind or just an injury as they get into everything as you know.  If your little ferret acts ok, just keep an eye on him.  It wouldn't hurt to but bacitrasin or neosporin on it topically to help as well as the oral meds.
