my ferret chews

 Hi, I have a nine month old female ferret, and she is a chewer. Not so much with cords, but she seems to love plastic or rubber things. I bought a stand alone air conditioner, very expensive, and she has tried to chew on parts of it. I have some bitter lime gel, should that do the trick? If not, is there anything else I can use that won't hurt her?

You can try the bitter lime, although some ferrets seem to like it!  The best solution is to make sure she is supervised around things that she can chew, redirect her to something appropriate to chew on, and make sure she has plenty of ferret appropriate things to do.
