Where can you buy a breeder ferret

I have been a ferret owner for some time now and have decided that I would like to start breeding them. I have read books and have a lot of knowledge on how to care for the babies. What I can't seem to find is someone who sells them or more importantly will ship them because I live in Missouri and there are no breeders in the state that I am aware of. I was wondering if you could help me locate one because I have searched the web and haven't had any luck on finding one.

Hello.......I'm not involved with breeding at all but I know that many of the people involved with the American Ferret Association are and they can point you in the right direction. They're at afa@ferret.org and www.ferret.org. Also, check with your state agency that regulates & enforces animal welfare to find out what laws pertain to setting up an animal breeding facility.
